Area Attractions
Something for everyone—nearby!
Our beautiful, 110-acre campus is just 30 minutes south of Tucson, and the rich, diverse dining, cultural and entertainment options a metropolitan area offers. We provide planned outings into Tucson and the areas surrounding the La Posada campus that always offer popular activities for seniors. Concerts, art shows, theater, bird-watching—we even take our residents on overnight camping trips into the foothills … because that’s something many of them told us that was one of the things they wanted to do (and who were we to say no to that kind of life experience?!).
A simple Google search for ‘things to do in Green Valley, AZ’ returns more than 13 million results! Clearly, there is no shortage of places to see, activities, sports, shopping, culture, food, natural history, museums, educational opportunities … and nearly anything else you can imagine.
