1985: Campus master plan, $21.5 million in financing approved.

1987: First apartments open in the La Vista building.

1992: Private medical offices are completed. A year later, the assisted living facility is launched, and in 1994, plans for the adult daycare were announced. The first year of positive cash flow.

1999-00: Private dental office opens; garden home building continues.

2001-02: Memory care center added.

2002-03: First in the state accredited by Continuing Care Retirement Communities/Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities; 153-unit La Perla apartments open.

2004: The expansion continues, Lisa Israel is promoted to president/CEO; Joni Condit is promoted to Senior VP/Chief Operating Officer and other management team revisions.

2008: Thirty-four (34) Park Centre Homes are built to add a free-standing home option in Independent Living

2011: Expansion is planned for The Shoppes public area; Inspired Living Institute is established; merger with Casa de Esperanza and Los Niños pre-school; our Community Services program is created.

2012: Community Connect opens an off-campus outreach center.

2013: La Hacienda is converted to an Enhanced Assisted Living program.

2016: Mosaic Homecare services merged with La Posada Homecare and renamed La Posada at Home; Posada Health nurse practitioner program opens to the public; the new monument entrance sign is erected.

2018: La Posada at Green Valley is inducted into the Sahuarita Unified School District Hall of Fame, for continuing partnership and support. 

2019: Joni Condit is appointed President and CEO by the La Posada Board of Directors, after retirement of Lisa Israel from that role. 2019: La Posada is recognized as the AZ19 Good Corporate Citizen for community partnership.

2021: La Posada completes construction of seventeen (17) new freestanding homes, called Pavilion Homes. This brings the total available Independent Living residences at La Posada Green Valley to 489.
