Los Niños del Valle Preschool/Child Care

Yet another need we identified in Green Valley was for a convenient, stimulating, safe, state-licensed preschool/childcare program. Los Niños del Valle was created to fill that void, and then some for kids 12 months to five years of age. Kids light up when they recognize the familiar face of one of our resident volunteers from La Posada, much like they would when they recognize a grandparent. And our residents who volunteer to help facilitate the school’s self-directed learning curriculum benefit from giving back and knowing they’re adding texture and invaluable exposure to young lives.

Los Niños del Valle is a DES-approved program that offers fee assistance programs, limited scholarships and sliding-scale considerations. Due to our program’s popularity, drop-in daycare service is not available.

The weekly full-day session (6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) rate for toddlers (starting at 12 months of age) is $200 with a $200 deposit. Full-day sessions (6:30 am – 6 p.m.) for kids aged 3 to 5 cost $189 per week.

We’ve earned a 4-star quality rating from First Things First, and we are endorsed by Eco-Healthy Child Care for our efforts to make and keep kids’ childcare environment as ‘green’ as possible.
